Fixed deadline

Client has a fixed deadline to meet. Scope will be negotiated to meet the deadline. The cost of the project may increase. Unless scope is adjusted to meet the deadline.

Time & Material

Project cost and delivery timeline are updated based on feature and functionality discussions. IPP will help in eliciting and documenting project scope. Best when scope and requirements are in a flux; known as Agile/Rapid prototyping based projects.

Hybrid

This is mixture of time & material and fixed price. Research, analysis and estimates phase is performed under time & material and development is fixed price. Best when initial requirements are not clear, and needs to be defined as well.

Fixed Price
